What data is collected

This privacy notice explains how (Kate Rose at Twenty Seven Digital) collects and uses your personal data.

The Twenty Seven Digital website usage data including region location, device used, how you found the site and how long you spend on the site.

The data I collect as part of quoted and conducting design work includes name, gender, contact details and social media links. If I have undertaken work for you I may hold back information including details of the payment and correspondence throughout our time working together.

How the data is collected

The Twenty Seven Digital website uses cookies when browsing this website. Cookies are small pieces of data, stored in text files, that are stored on your computer or other device when websites are loaded in a browser. They are widely used to “remember” you and your preferences from browsing behaviour and usage.

If you provide your data to me via email, online/social media or in person.

On this website you can sign up to my newsletter where your name and email will be stored in Flodesk (email provider).

How is your data stored and processed?

If I have done design work for you this will be on my computer within a specific excel spreadsheet which is backed up to an external hard drive and on Asana which is my online project management tool used to manage projects with all clients.

Within emails and maybe on social media between myself and you as the client. You will be made aware if your information is being shared if and when I need to collaborate with another consultant to complete a job.

On Flodesk to maintain email marketing.

Within the cookies processed by Google Analytics from my hosted site on Webflow.

How will your data be used?

To keep in touch before, during and after the design process as a client or when I need to confirm a contract between us both.

To keep in touch with you via email marketing if you’ve opted-in to be contacted. You can opt-out at any time and it won’t affect any current or future working relationship as client and designer.

The data collected by the cookies on this website allow me to view the website analytics and enable me to improve the user experience for you and other visitors.

I like to develop relationships with the clients I work with, so on the birthday of the company or at Christmas, I may send things through to you. If you don’t want me to, please let me know kate@twentysevendigital.co.uk

Technical Information

The Twenty Seven Digital website uses an SSL Security Certificate meaning the transmission of sensitive information online has to be encrypted to prevent eavesdropping and is therefore protected.

And third party site or service I use to maintain the business (Flodesk, Google, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Linkedin) are all GDPR compliant.

On this website, there will be links to other third-party websites such as social media, blogs, services sites etc and I don’t control their use of data collection and would encourage you to read their privacy policies.

How will your data be shared?

Your data and information will never be given or sold to third-party sites or organisations but there may be a few legitimate instances where I may share your personal data:

When I am sharing any part of my work with another colleague or business for additional services to complete a project (designers, website developers, photographers, videographers etc).

Any professionals services such as lawyers and accountants who assist with any business.

HMRC and regulators who require reporting from me.
